The Thundersoother artifact set will be effective against certain opponents in Genshin Impact when equipped to the right Electro characters. Here is where the players can find it in Teyvat, how to get it, and what it’s best used for.

What is the Thundersoother artifact set in Genshin Impact?

Using the right artifacts is one of the most important mechanics to the gameplay of Genshin Impact. However, pairing the perfect artifacts set with the right characters will be a bit of a challenge. Firstly, the rarest Genshin Impact artifact sets, Thundersoother included, will only be pulled once running Domains at higher levels. If the players get lucky enough to get the five-star Artifact of choice, the substats for Sands, Goblets, and Circlets are assigned at random, and how effective they are vary depending on the character’s kit.

The Thundersoother artifact set is geared towards Electro and Electro resistance (RES) in its main stats. At 2-piece, Thundersoother will grant Electro RES an increase of 20%. While at 4-piece, it will increase damage against the enemies that have been affected by Electro by 35%. Although Thundersoother artifact set is one of the rarer artifact sets in the game of  Genshin Impact, but most players do not find it as useful as other Electro-geared sets such as Thundering Fury, which is discovered in the same Domain, as it is not optimized when targeted on opponents affected by an element other than Electro. But, the 4-piece buff will work well if running an Electro character as the main damage dealer, such as Fischl.
