In the Lore section, it is told that The Bell claymore is a strange greatsword which is decorated with a beautiful clock. The special sound of clockwork worked as a combat rhythm for the user and their friends. After the Wanderer’s Troupe disbanded, the greatsword was soaked in acid and because of this, the gears have rusted. Nevertheless, it still makes a lethal weapon.
Someone by the name of Kreuzlied went around with the Wanderer’s Troupe. Once a member of the ruling Lawrence clan and now becomes a traitor and outcast. In that time, scholars and bards did not care about history. For the Aristocracy preferred to remain willfully ignorant of their own moral degeneracy than face the judgement of history. However, the aristocrats trembled in fear when they heard the sound of this blade when it flew through the air. It is because it was the toll of the bell of judgement.
After the failed uprising, it was not made public what punishment Kreuzlied met with. It is a testament to his privileged origins. Based on legend, it is said that after being dismissed from office, his will to be able to continue the legacy of his fellow rebels led him to be able to make a secret society which has an aim to bring down the Aristocracy. In addition, he gave his full help to the enslaved gladiator when she revolted.
Further in the past, there was a popular rumor that the secret society of Kreuzlied was working constantly in the background. It helped the Knights of Favonius to keep Mondstadt safe through actions that should not be done by any knight. Even it was said that the Wolf Pup Rostam ran this organization in secret and it was behind the back of Grand Master.
